In this RM Greyhound Tips review, I’ll be taking a look at this greyhound tipping service on the Tipsters Empire website. Greyhound services give you good strike rates but poor profits, but is this one that’s finally really worth your time and money?
What is RM Greyhound Tips?
Greyhound tipping is always seen as the poor relation to tipping on the Sport of Kings. The reason usually comes down to money. While greyhound services normally deliver a fair amount of winners, there’s never any value in the prices so the profits stay quite small.
If a greyhound service not only picked winners but got enough of them at a decent price, that would be news. To find one that gave you the same returns as a horse racing service, that would be a rare find. So, I’m taking a look to see if that’s what we have here.
At first glance, it does look promising. The tipster has plenty of trackside and training experience and uses this to try and spot decent priced winners the rest don’t see coming. He does this by concentrating only on certain meetings and spends around four hours a night looking for the selections he sends you in this service.
How does RM Greyhound Tips Work?
These will arrive between 11 am and 1 pm, once the prices show at the bookies. You’ll be getting between one and four tips each day mostly wins but with the occasional each way. You’ll want to get on these quite quickly, as this tipster is looking for value. This value can disappear as the much poorer results at BSP will prove (more on that in a minute).
You’ll be staking somewhere between half a point and 3 points each time which looks after your bank but doesn’t really point to huge profits with odds this reasonable. Average odds at 7/2, which wouldn’t even count as interesting in a horse racing service, but greyhound racing is very different.
How long does RM Greyhound Tips take to set up?
Just like any horse racing service though, you’ll have to get signed up first. You can access this via the Tipsters Empire website, pay your money and you’re in.
You should be able to do this with whatever bookie you are currently with, but make sure you’ve got a couple more ready to use in case the price you want isn’t available.
Oddschecker is even more valuable than usual here, so best to get that installed on your phone as well if you haven’t already.
How long does it take to use RM Greyhound Tips?
You’ve probably already got all of the apps on your phone already, so you’ll be all set when the text arrives. You can just place the bets using the info in the texts, or you can click through and get chapter and verse as to why that particular selection has been made.
If you go for the shorter option, this will take you a couple of minutes to do. Looking for prices can take longer, even using oddschecker, so you’ll need to allow time for that. When a service is looking for value, it’s key you get those prices if you want to get the advised profits.
How much can you make with RM Greyhound Tips?
That’s very clear here. If you’d got the advised odds, you’d have seen your cumulative profit rise to £2105 over the last 9 months. This is at £10/pt of course – and would have given you an average of £232 profit each month.
At BSP, though, that average would be just £83.
If you’d got £232 each month from a horse racing service, you’d be more than happy. The 42% strike rate is better than most horse racing services too. This win rate means losing months are few and far between with the single losing month here costing just 13pts.
How much does RM Greyhound Tips cost?
The only missing piece of the puzzle then is the fees. You can get a 28 trial of this service for £2.99 so you can test the waters. After that, it’s £34.99 for a month, £87.50 for 3 months, £157 for 6 months or £279 for a year. Depending on with package you’ve taken, this works out at between 10 and 15 percent of the profits, which counts as good value for money in my book.
The subscriptions don’t renew automatically so you don’t end up paying for another month just because you didn’t cancel in time. There is also a portfolio option where you can subscribe to all the tipsters on the site for £75/month.
The advised bank is 150pts but you won’t need even half of that. You could probably get away with considerably less, so not having £1500 behind you doesn’t have to get in the way of using this.
RM Greyhound Tips Review Advantages
And there are plenty of reasons to want to use this. Provided you’ve got everything set-up in advance, this is 5 minutes of your day for over £200 a month. The fees won’t make a big hole in those profits and a good win rate won’t test your nerves too much.
RM Greyhound Tips Review Disadvantages
The problem is ensuring you get the advised prices. The difference between profits at advised prices and BSP show how much the prices can move, and how much it can cost you if you miss one. The bottom line is, if you can only get these at close to SP/BSP, this isn’t worth you doing.
RM Greyhound Tips Review Conclusion and Overall Rating
If you are able to get those bets on in time though, you will do well with this. The steady rise in profits may not be for those who crave the thrill of the big win, but there are none of the big losses that go with them.
If this was a horse racing service people would be all over this, so I’m recommending you put and preconceived ideas to one side and give this a go.
