In this JP Horse Tips review, I’ll be looking at this new service that launched on the Tipstrr platform in December. This service posted some incredible results in its first month, so I’ll be taking a look to see if it has managed to keep up the good work.

What is JP Horse Tips?
Some services are all or nothing. Looking at the first month’s results, you might think that about this service. I don’t usually look at a service this earlier but this one was brought to my attention due to a very good December. As I know the is a big fear of missing out, I thought I’d take a look at this to find out if the first month was just a flash in the pan.

With a closer look, it’s easy to see that this service is not all or nothing. It’s a service that’s ‘mostly’ one thing, but not all. It mostly looks a lot like other services, it mostly tips over the jumps, it mostly sends out each way tips and mostly makes a profit. Does that make it a mostly good service? Let’s find out.
How does JP Horse Tips Work?
Your tips will arrive the evening before the race, mostly each way at odds over 10, or wins at odds between 3 and 5. There are multiples (though I didn’t see any) but this is what happens most of the time. You’ll be staking half a point on the win tips and a whole point in total on the each way tips.
Three of four tips a day staking three or four points a day won’t harm your bank if it all goes wrong but doesn’t seem to leave much chance of big profits either. You’d think from looking at this you’d get steady profits and you’d be right, mostly.

Before we get into that, you’ll need to get yourself signed up. You can get started with JP Horse Tips, like Tipstrr services, by clicking through from the tipster page.
You should be able to use your normal bookie’s accounts for these, though the tipster does like Betfair Sportsbook and SkyBet. The odds looked available on most of the others though you wouldn’t want to leave them until morning.

These are quick simple bets to put on but can arrive at various times. This is one of those services that will work best on your phone and if you’ve got everything set up, it’s literally three minutes out of your evening.
If you have to leave them until the day of the race, expect to spend some time looking for the best odds, which will obviously take longer. You could do this on the exchanges but you might have trouble getting decent prices and you’ll lose any BOG (best odds guaranteed) benefits you’d get from a bookie.
How much can you make with JP Horse Tips?

Not that this service relies on BOGS for its profits. You’ll have to remember the results are shown on the website are at £25/pt and not the £10/pt you see elsewhere. But, they do look good, until you see all of the money was mostly made in December and it’s haad modest results since.
Take this into account when you look at any ‘averages’ you see on the website. I said above that this service looked like one that would give you slow steady profits, and since that first month, it has.
How much does JP Horse Tips cost?
This is also something you need to take into account when you’re looking at monthly fees as well. There’s the usual Tipstrr offer to tempt you in, in this case, £2 for the first fortnight. If you’re still interested after that, you’ll have quite a few options.
You can choose between £10 for a week, £19 a month, £45 for three months, £85 for six months or £159 for a year. Against the ‘average’ profits this looks like the bargain of the century, but against a more normal month, not so much.
The 21% strike rate means you’ll have some losing runs but a standard 100pt bank should do you from what I’ve seen so far. December seems to be the result of more than the normal amount of higher priced each way tips coming in. I would also expect to see, in the next few months, a time when none of them come in and service has a bad month. You can’t really make a call on bank size until after that happens.

JP Horse Tips Review Advantages
This is quick and easy to do and has enough variation to keep you interested. This service looks well thought out with a good balance between risk and profitability that should give you steady profits over time. It even has the bonus of that big month at the start.
JP Horse Tips Review Disadvantages
The trouble there though is that it gives you a slightly false picture of what this service is like. You could see the average profits, subscribe and only be disappointed.
JP Horse Tips Review Conclusion and Overall Rating
This is a good service, but not as good as the figures would have you believe. Unless there is another big month very soon the figures will even out to something most people won’t find good enough.
This is not a yes or no, but a come back in six months and take a look then.
