In this The MasterPlan Review, I’ll be taking a look at this tipping service on the Betfan platform. It’s billed as a ‘tried tested and proven money-spinner’, so I’ll be seeing if it really does offer ‘incredible profits from the sport of kings’ or is just a waste of your time and money.

What is The MasterPlan?
This service is based on an analytical approach and backed with decades of experience. I always see this as a good sign, so I started this review feeling optimistic. On first look though, it seemed like this service was pretty much the same as the others.

Not so much a Masterplan then, as ‘same old plan’. There’s no problem though, with having the same old plan as long as it works.
How does The MasterPlan Work?
The number of tips you’ll get will vary from one day to another. You might go 2 or 3 days without a tip at all, then get 5 or 6 the next. I also see this as a good sign, as I prefer tipsters who send out what they think is going to win and not follow some gimmicky plan.
The tips will be 90% win singles, with the rest made up with each way bets. These will nearly always be for 5pts and have odds between 3 and 5. This means there’s not always a rush to get these on as the prices will remain stable. The exception here is the occasional high priced each way which you will want to deal with straight away.
How long does The MasterPlan take to set up?
If you’re already a BetFan member you can get in very quickly, but if you’re new to the site you’ll have to register first. After that, it’s just a case of paying your money and waiting for your first tips to arrive.
You should be able to do this using whichever bookmakers you already have accounts with. Make sure at least two or three of them are still active. It’s also worth installing the apps on your phone if you haven’t already. Once all of those boxes are ticked, you’re good to go.
How long does it take to use The MasterPlan?
It will make it quicker and more convenient to get this done if you’ve got everything set up on your phone. Even on the days when there are 5 or 6 bets, this isn’t going to take you too long. But, as you’ll need to get some of these on as soon as you can, it’s common sense to make it as easy as possible.
Yes, you could do this on Betfair although you wouldn’t advise it. You would still have to go for the advised prices, as I wouldn’t be confident you’d make as much using BSP. You’d also lose any BOG benefits that you’d get from your normal bookmaker.
How much can you make with The MasterPlan?

This is where the promising start takes a nosedive. In 31 months this service has made just 480pts in profit. That’s 15.5pt each month or £155 at £10/pt. As you would expect with those results it’s a very up and down service with almost as many losing months as winning ones.
There have been some massive winning months (262pts) a few big losers (188pts, 103pts and 117pts) but overall this service is in profit, even after you take subscription fees into account.
How much does The MasterPlan cost?
When you’re paying either £13 for a week, £39 for 28 days, £109 for three months or £185 for six months you should expect better results than this. Yes, you’ll be £100/month better off on average but you can better elsewhere for the same price or cheaper.
The other problem with the results is that you’d have had a 100pt bank wiped out three times this year already. Which overshadows any profits you might have made in between.

The MasterPlan Review Advantages
This is a shame because up to that point this service was looking good. I liked the methodology of the selection process and the number of bets. The emails had everything you needed to know and you didn’t have to jump through any hoops to get this done.
Most of all I was impressed that the bets were simple and easy to place, with reasonably stable odds.
The MasterPlan Review Disadvantages
The problem was that not enough of them won. Yes, there’s a small profit overall but you can’t ignore the ups and downs of this service. These would deter even the most committed follower so there’s only really one thing I can say in conclusion.
The MasterPlan Review Conclusion and Overall Rating
This is far too unpredictable for me and I think it will be for you too. I can’t possibly recommend this to anyone as you can make more money than this, with much, much less of a rollercoaster elsewhere.
If this tipster can keep his simple methodology but be more consistent with his results, this would be a very good tipping service. As things stand though, simply not good enough.
