What is SPT Racing?
SPT Racing has been running on the Betfan platform for the last year so, it was about time I had a look at it. Once a service has been running a year you get to see the ups and downs that all services go through and can make a better decision about whether a service is worth putting money and effort into.

The website tells you that SPT Racing has a ‘secret system’ that helps them ‘understand why some horses win and why others lose’. There’s very little in the way of detail apart from that interesting claim, so we’ll have to see just how good this ‘secret system’ actually is.
How does SPT Racing Work?
For a start, it churns out plenty of tips. There is a range of win and each way tips which are often also combined into trebles. Including those trebles, you’ll be getting between 4 and 9 tips each day staking between 3 and 5 points each time.
That means you’ll be staking 20-40 points each day on what can be quite high odds. This means you’ll want to get these on quite quickly to make sure you get the advertised prices. It also means that a huge chunk of your bank can disappear in one day, or your profits can take a huge leap just as quickly.
How long does SPT Racing take to set up?
Before either of those things can happen, you’ll to get signed up and part with some cash. It’s a quick and painless process (apart from the bit where you’re money obviously). Once you’ve done that, it’s just a case of waiting for the first wave of tips to arrive.
Unless of course, you’ve only been using only one bookie’s account for a while. You might have to go hunting for prices so dusting off a few bookies accounts you haven’t used for a while wouldn’t be a bad idea. It’s best to do it now, so you don’t miss out on a good price because you’re waiting for a password reset email to arrive.
How long does it take to use SPT Racing?
There are a lot of bets, and some of them have a bit more to them than normal. Even if it is just making the selections again then ticking a box, this will take you longer than just placing straight win singles. You’ll probably be spending 10-15 minutes to put these on, perhaps a bit longer if you need to go looking for prices.
Getting this all set up on your phone if you haven’t already might make it more convenient, as you can get started even if you’re not by your laptop. It probably won’t save you any time doing it this way but you stand a better chance of getting the advised odds. And, getting a horse at 10/1 instead of 8/1 will make a difference when it comes to profits.
How much can you make with SPT Racing?

In fact, a lot of the money to be made here is reliant on that. The overall principle seems to be to get enough wins from the single bets to stop things from going too far south before one of the trebles comes in. When a few of the trebles come in, it’s an outstanding month. When none of them come in, you’ll lose most of your bank.
This service has posted an average profit of around 20pts each month, which isn’t bad. But, it’s rarely anything like an average month with losses of 90+pts or profits of 150+ happening quite regularly. This is another one of those services where deeper pockets and steely nerves are the order of the day.
How much does SPT Racing cost?
With those kinds of ups and downs, fees can be a bit of an afterthought. But, the £10 for a week, £30 for 28 days, £84.50 for three months or £143 for six months don’t seem unreasonable. If an average month did occur, at £10/pt the fees would only take 15% of that which isn’t that bad.
You couldn’t go into this with just the usual 100pt bank though. You would have gone straight through that a least twice in the last 12 months. For safety’s sake, a 200pt bank would be a better idea. At £10/pt a £2000 is higher than usual but not out of everybody’s reach.

SPT Racing Review Advantages
You’d never say there wasn’t enough going on here. If you like the thrill of the big(ish) win and a few little wins, so you get something to be happy about most days, you’ll like this a lot. The fees are reasonable and the profits aren’t awful.
SPT Racing Review Disadvantages
That’s also the problem though. This is as much organised chaos as placing bets and there is do much going on that you won’t really notice that most days one small win isn’t enough to stop your bank going down.
You’ll remember the big wins though and you could easily get to the end of a whole year following this service with the feeling that you’ve won quite a lot. But, on looking at the figures, you’ll wonder why you don’t seem to have too much money.
SPT Racing Review Conclusion and Overall Rating
This is one of those services where I’ve come away liking it but not really wanting to recommend it because I know your time and money would be better spent elsewhere. The profits just aren’t good enough for what you’re doing to get them.
This is a real shame really because this is all quite entertaining. So, I have to recommend that you let SPT’s ‘secret system’(for now at least) remain a secret.
