In this L7N Longshots review, I’ll be taking a look at this offshoot of an established tipping service. I’ll be looking at what separates this from the main service and finding out if it can match that service’s extraordinary profits?
What is L7N Longshots?
L7N Longshots has been running on the Betfan platform since February 2015. It’s an offshoot of the very successful Lucky 7 Naps service which makes a lot of money and I’ve reviewed here. The mani service works on races with less than 7 runners and concentrates on winners only.
Clearly, there must be horses that don’t quite make the final list but still seem like good prospects. Michael, the man behind the original service now posts these out as each way tips under the banner of L7N longshots.
How does L7N Longshots Work?
You won’t be getting a tip every single day, about 20 a month in total. As I mentioned above they will be each way bets and they will be real longshots. Odds can be anything between 11 and 101, so yes, you’ll want to get them on quite quickly to make sure you get the prices.
You’ll be staking 5 points each time, which means a long losing run will make some big holes in your bank. It also means when one of these comes in it really does make a difference to the profits.
How long does L7N Longshots take to set up?
Before you can do any of this, you’ll to get signed up and part with your cash. As you would expect, any process that involves you paying is made as easy as possible (and very easy if you’re already a Betfan member). Once you’ve done that, it’s just a case of waiting for the first tip to arrive.
It might be a day or so before that happens, so although this is all pretty straightforward, there is another box to tick. While you can probably cover this with whatever bookie’s accounts you have going already, you may have to go searching for some of the higher prices if you’re a bit late on the tips.
It will be worth getting acquainted with Oddschecker if you haven’t already, and dusting off a few bookies accounts you haven’t used for aa while to make sure they are still active. The last thing you want is a 33/1 winner being just a 20/1 winner because you were waiting for a password reset email.
How long does it take to use L7N Longshots?
If all of that lot is in place, this will take you around 2 minutes a day. If you have to go looking for odds though, it will take longer and it is worth taking the time. If you are using £10/pt getting a horse at 30/1 instead of 20/1 can make as much as £500 difference, so getting the advised price is important.
If you can set all this up on your phone you give yourself the best chance of getting these on quickly. You won’t get it done any faster, you’ll just be able to get on them straight away even if you’re not by your laptop.
How much can you make with L7N Longshots?
The profits aren’t as good as the main service, but still quite impressive. Over the 50 months this service has been running it’s made over 2000pts profit but as you can imagine with longshots it’s been a bumpy ride.
You could have made 403pts one month, then lose all that and more over the next 4. You then win 800 over the next 3 months and so it goes on. Profitable in the long run and entertaining but not for the faint hearted.
How much does L7N Longshots cost?
With profits and losses like that fees are a bit of a side issue. The £15 for a week, £45 for 28 days, £126 for three months or £214 for six months is almost irrelevant in comparison. But, if you sit down and average it all out, at £10/pt you’ll be making £400 in profit, with your fees at just over 10% of that. In my book that counts as good value.
I’ve gone into how much this service can lose so I think a 400pt bank is advisable here. That’s £4000 at £10/pt and might be beyond a lot of people. You could start with lower and build it, hoping a particularly bad run doesn’t happen in the meantime.
L7N Longshots Review Advantages
Despite that, this service has a lot going for it. The bets are simple to put on, uncomplicated and one bet most days isn’t going to interrupt your normal life. There will be some spectacular winners which will be amazing for those with memories and enough to stop those with longer memories from quitting.
The average profits are very reasonable and the fees won’t take a huge chunk out of that.
L7N Longshots Review Disadvantages
However, you’d be daft to think there was anything average about this service. It really is famine or feast and that feast is heavily reliant of you getting the advised odds. The starting bank is beyond a lot of people financially and the rollercoaster may be beyond some people mentally.
L7N Longshots Review Conclusion and Overall Rating
So, I will recommend this with that one condition. With profits like this, I would be a fool to say this was a bad system. But, I’d be an even bigger fool to tell you this was easy to live with. Easy to use yes, but it’s a real rollercoaster both financially and mentally. So, you should only follow this service if you are sure you know what you are letting yourself into.
