Happy Days Review – To average to be interesting?

When writing this Happy Days Review, I was a bit worried I’d seen it all before. This has posted some great results since launching on the BetFan website in April but I have to wonder if this service is anything new and is anybody going to care?

What is Happy Days?

Happy Days is run by James who has 50 year’s experience betting on horses. This suggests he’s seen more than a few tipsters in his time and knows what goes into a good tipping service. From what I can see here, he knows what he is doing and as a result, has created the most generic tipping service I’ve seen.

Happy Days Review

There is nothing new on offer here. This is almost the dictionary definition of a horse racing tipping service and I’ll be working out if that’s a good thing or a bad thing.

How does Happy Days Work?

James works out his tips every morning and then gets them out to you for the day’s races. His tips are win singles with a few each way bets for between 1 and 4 pts. The number of points is decided by how confident he is in each selection.

You’ll get between 2-4 tips most days, though there will be some days when there are no tips at all. The selections with the higher odds (over 12) tend to be each way, but you shouldn’t waste any time putting them on.

How long does Happy Days take to set up?

If you’re already a BetFan member you can get started with this in a couple of minutes but if you’re new to the site you’ll have to register first. After that, it’s just a case of paying your money and waiting for the first tips to arrive.

The bets are simple but it will be worth making sure you have a few bookies accounts in good order before you get started. You could do this using the exchanges but you’ll lose any BOG benefits,

Even if you’ve got four different bets to put on at four different bookies, you’ll have trouble making this last more than 10 minutes each day. The exception to this is when you’ve let too much time pass since the email was sent and you need to go round the bookies looking for a decent price.

Getting everything set up on your phone will help, then you can be on these tips as soon as they arrive. The higher odds might only be on those each way bets, but it all adds up if you want to make the profits advised on the website

The profits here are good. In the 8 or so months since this service launched, it has posted 213 points profit. At £10/pt that makes a very profit of around £250 each month, which is about what you’d expect from a decent tipping service.

The 31% strike rate is about where you’d expect it to be too. It had just one losing month and been in profit for the rest, from 7pts in September to 68pts in July. So, provided this doesn’t cost a fortune, this looks like a winner.

How much does Happy Days cost?

With BetFan services, there are a lot (too many?) subscription options. You can have aa week for £10, a month for £30 for a lunar month (28 days) £84.50 for 90 days or £143.00 for 6 months. There’s a little bit of a saving in going for the 6 months subscription but all are good value when you consider the profits.

You’ll have over £200 month clear at £10/pt and whether you’re used to using a 50 or 100pt bank, either should be fine as the losing runs won’t eat too far into your funds.

Happy Days Review Advantages

This service has so much going for it. If you took the better bits out of all of the tipping services you’ve used and bundled them all together it would look a lot like this. You’ll have no trouble using this is so much about it is very faamiliar

Happy Days Review Disadvantages

And you might find that a bit of a problem. There is no new twist here, nothing to make you sit up and take notice of this service. You’ll get the feeling you’ve seen it all before but that’s because you have.

Happy Days Review Conclusion and Overall Rating

My fear is that this service will get lost because it may be easy to use and profitable but is also very forgettable. That’s a real shame because it does everything you want and does it well.

I would happily recommend it to anybody but chances are you’ve already got a service a lot like this in your portfolio.

Don’t let that stop you though – get it anyway.
